I had applied to Wellesley EE, and had received an unlikely. After that, for a while, there was no "check your application status" or anything on my mywellesley page to do, so I just left it at that. Today though, (and this may have been here for a while) I logged into my mywellesley account, and it said on the left "Thank you for applying to Wellesley EE, blah blah blah....", then there was a button saying "financial aid requirements". I clicked on that, and it showed a list of materials that they have and do not have. There was something about how to fulfill some requirement in underlined blue lettering. Why would Wellesley ask for all this stuff like tax forms ect, if I received an unlikely? I had assumed I had gotten a rejection, so I had basically moved on. If they were still considering me though, thats another story, and I would love for that to happen, but I am not sure what to believe right now. I am just very confused.

Something similar happened to my D when she was applying to schools - not at Wellesley, but another school. Unfortunately, it did not mean what we were hoping it might mean at the time. So you probably shouldn’t read anything into it.

I thought the financial aid requirements has always been on the web page.
Not to get you down, but don’t get your hopes up too much? Wellesley says it’s admissions are need-blind anyway, so (I could be wrong) I’m assuming that the financial and admissions office work separately.
Good luck to you, though. : )
