I know you need some programming, engineering, physics etc. but what path should I take. I am most likely going to grinnell and I could double major in math and economics or physics and economics but what would I do after that? Or is there a better route? I know this has been discussed before but i haven't found a thread answering this question.

Try dual majoring in cs and finance (or something close like economics with finance concentration). After that apply for internships and google for interview guides.

Yeah but I also heard what you need a phd in either math, engineering, or physics. Is that true also? I just want to get my facts straight so I know what I’m getting into and what I should plan for.

Anyone? Does it matter if I would go for a physics or math phd? Is one better than the other?
