<p>Actually, it’s really the schools where level of applicant’s interest is “Very Important” or “Important”. Attributes that are “Considered” are usually only considered in borderline cases for students who wouldn’t otherwise be admitted. </p>
<p>Wisconsin-Madison is an example where essays are “Considered”, but really, if you have the stats and an obvious admit, nobody is going to ding you on your essay as long as it’s not total gibberish. Whereas for Michigan, they are “Important”.</p>
