Anyone know?

Everyone who isn't accepted EA. Predictions are 18% accepted, 82% deferred.

How many of the deferred usually get in?

I believe I read somewhere that 15% of the deferred usually make it RD. Not sure though if my numbers are correct.

according to the princeton review book on the 365 best colleges, 6% of people are accepted off the wait list.

that's a lie about acceptances off the waitlist. whenever you get waitlisted they send you a list with the percentages from the past 5 years or so and i think the acceptance rate was like .02 because the past two or three years they only accepted about 3 people total off the waitlist and i don't think any got into SFS.

Deferred does not mean one is necessarily placed on the waitlist. It just means your application is going to be reconsidered with the regular decision pool. After that, you might get placed on the real waitlist.

yes, i was talking about the regular decision waitlist because that is the only waitlist there is. getting deferred just puts you in with the regular decision people, not on a separate list.
