What percentage on the AP Physics test do you need to get a 3?

I heard that 66% is a 5 and 50% is a 4 on the AP Physics B test. So does that mean 33% is a 3???? This seems sort of impossible. Can anyone clarify this? Thanks! :)

It changes every year. This is true about all AP tests. It is based on a curve...so if the top scorers get 50-55%, then that is the percentage needed to get a 5. Usually, because AP tests can be rather challenging, getting a low score isn't actually that bad. Only, your low score would compared with others, and it may then be a 'high' score.
