Those power series are sufficient. Learning how to manipulate them by multiplying by x and such is the stuff you should actually spend more time on.
If I remember correctly from last year’s exam, there might not have been a question on polar functions in the MC, but there was one FR question on plotting and using integration or something on it. If you know the rest of the BC material you should be fine.
