What Pre-Med school is best/could I actually get into.

Hello, all. First post, so if this is the wrong area of anything, feel free to yell at me.

I'm a junior, getting ready to go into senior year. I'm not really sure what I want to do. I was thinking masters/Phd then pharmaceutical or biomedical research, but the money's not really what I want after 8 years and thousands of dollars of schooling. Despite that possibly being my dream job, I also think I would like to be a doctor (where the money's substantially better). My plan is go through med school, then get a specialty. Not anything crazy like a brain surgeon, but maybe something with a 4-ish year residency.

Ok, so backstory finished, I really have no idea where I want to go to college for pre-med. I want to go to a good medical school, but other tan that not a whole lot of preferences. I live in NW Indiana, so something close would be nice, but DEFINITELY not necessary.
My creds are as follows:
-4.2 GPA (probably 3.7-ish unweighted) from an, at least regionally, renowned school (2008 US& News silver medal)
-Taking all accelerated, most AP/IB classes.
-2220 SAT (790 CR, 760 Math, 670 Writing)
-Haven't taken ACT or any Subject tests yet
-Not a lot of xtra curriculars, but a few and won some national medals in S.O. Also part-time job

....that's about it. I just want to go somewhere that will put me in good shape to get into med school, and an accelerated program wouldn't be out of the question. I would like to go somewhere with room to play, though, cause im not absolutely positive that medical school is what I want to do, so a school with lots of majors would be nice.
(I like urban atmosphere and smaller schools, but #1 priority is a really good school, wherever it is).

THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY. And sorry for the long post.

Don’t feel you need to go to a top undergrad school to get into a top med school. If you want to explore your interests more in a college with lots of options, look into your major state schools. There are well-known schools like U of Chicago and Northwestern that are relatively close, but also check out ones that nobody other than people in your region knows of. Visit the ones you think would interest you and see how you like them. The one you feel most comfortable at is the one you should go to (everything else like money situation, acceptance to that college, etc aside).

Go into cheapest UG that fits all your goals, including satisfying campus life (you will be there for 4 years), get very high college GPA, get yourself involved in Med. related and other EC’s and you will be all set.
