Hello.
I will be taking SAT Bio M this June. I am planning to purchase two prep books, and borrow one from library. I already have Cliffs AP, but I am intended two purchase two prep books and borrow thir prep book. Which two prep books should I buy?

For AP/ SAT II I am reading 5 steps to a 5, Cliff Notes, and the REA Crash course… These 3 together are helping me cover/ understand a lot.

Barron’s SAT BIOLOGY is amazing. i took a regular Biology class freshman year, Read Barron’s probably 3 times took the practice tests.I took the one in the BB and got a 660 on the real thing I got a 680—should have been higher but I got stumped on this 4 question thing… Ready to retake in May and all I will do is read Barron’s once or twice a week before take a practice test, and I am hoping for a 750ish. the curve isn’t too great but thats ok. Also, I reccomend taking E the curve is slightly higher I believe.

Barron’s SAT Biology book is probably the best… I used it and got a 750.

i’m taking ap bio, is there anything i need to be aware of or are there anything tricky w/ SATII Bio? Would I need to do any extra prep for SAT II Bio?

Does anyone have any practice tests? Is the E or M usually easier?

Yea, I’m wondering about it as well. E or M, which one is easier for you guys?

Cliffsnotes AP Biology - SAT II and AP have the same content

Guys, which one is easier Bio E or M?

And how did you prepare for SAT Bio?

Everyone’s different. Most people say M I think because its pure memorization. I think E is easier personally because it involves a lot of inferences or deal with simple animal and symbiosis( meaning I can make educated guesses ) Cause in M is you don’t know it your beat. You can use sparkntoes test(online) to study too :]

Oh and the curve is usually betterfor E(+ 10 points. not much but better than nothing.) Also the score I got in E equalled in the 73 %tile I believe. But if I got that score in M it would have been in the 60 %tile.
