Nowhere, because my school is full of idiotic underachievers.

Usually, one student gets into Stanford, but not this year. The lone candidate was rejected on Friday and stayed home moping until Wednesday. He skipped our Academic Team championship, which could have helped me get into Stanford ;) The past two have been the consecutive sons of a family that is both Native American and Black. They were all very smart, but its hard to say how much AA played a role. One guy also got into MIT last year.

well, here is our school:

wow i cant imagine going to a school where so many people are going to such awesomes colleges...

most prestigious school:

Grinnell (me, salutatorian)

the valedictorian is going to a ****y state university, a few others are going out of state but to crappy public universities that dont require more than a 20 on the ACT...depressing to think about really

a friend of mine (and the valedictorian) got waitlisted by Wake Forest

What sucks is that not many people from the school district have gotten anywhere great. As a consequence, it's hard to prove to your counselor that you're serious about your ambitions.

And a bunch of stuff I don't remember.

Well, we actually did pretty poorly this year; plenty of people we expected to get into Ivies did not. And I'm pretty sure that this year, we had no MIT accepts, at least, none that I know of. I'll exclude myself from the list and if I know exact numbers of students, I'll post, and if I just know there's more than one, I'll denote it with an asterisk.

And that's all I can remember off the top of my head. Hey, that's not so bad, is it?

If we're considering full-rides or special programs, these are a few...
1. Brandeis full ride for one student
2. American full-ride for another
3. I'll repeat Duke for another
4. Drexel's accelerated medical program
5. I'll repeat Julliard's full-ride
6. Early at Washington & Lee for a white guy, which is apparently pretty difficult

Most of these people are my friends (many of them my close friends). Luckily I didn't do too shabby myself. Asians/ nerds of all races--ya gotta love 'em.

We had 4 get into Harvard and at least 1 at UCLA. And don't forget that the Georgetown admit was in SFS.
