What prestigious colleges have kids gotten into from your highschool this year?

It also seems that many people were admitted to Georgetown from my school, and no one here ever wants to attend MIT.

Boston University
Boston College
Tufts University
Mt. Holyoke College
Skidmore College
Brown
Yale
MIT
Cornell
Princeton
Harvard
Holy Cross
Stonehill
I think, NYU, too.

There's more, but those are the bulk of prestigious colleges the academic elite at my school have been accepted into. Every year, the academic quality of each graduating class fluctuates. This year, we were lucky enough to have a strong class.

Anywhere you name except MIT. Screw them...

Columbus State Community College.

Brown
Dartmouth
WUSTL

Kinda week for our school this year

Last year we had:
MIT (Genius who is now tutoring the other frreshmen per the request of his professors)
Cornell University
Carnegie Mellon
Berkely (The person here got no money to go there (plus its on the west coast), she went to Tufts (fantastic student that got accepted to every school she applied to except Georgetown, the school I would kill to go to))

Okay, let's get this straight.
There are no "full rides" to any Ivy League schools. It is against Ivy League policy to give merit scholarships to students. This said, if someone you know got a "full ride," that just means they have huge financial need.

7 Brown
5 Harvard
4 Yale
1 Princeton
3 MIT
1 Stanford
(At the very least) 10 UC Berkeley (our school's a feeder for Berkeley)
6 Dartmouth
4 Columbia
2 Caltech
15ish UCLA
4 Swarthmore
2 Georgetown
3 Amherst
etc...

^ *** kinda school do you go to

Our school:

1 rice

...

3 Penn
1 Harvard
2 Brown
1 Columbia
2 Dartmouth
2 Duke
3 Cornell
2 Georgetown
3 Washington University in St. Louis
1 UChicago

I don't know about the LAC Scene, but I think we got kids into every single one of the top 25 LACs

PRiSM: I go to a fairly large public school (about 750 in the senior class). This said, the majority of the colleges I listed above have been acceptances from the top 5% or so.
We also happen to have love/hate affairs with certain schools. We love Yale and Brown, but dislike Princeton and Stanford. Last year, we had one Stanford admit, who was a legacy, but had over 5 Yales and Harvards, 2 Princetons. This year, we had 6 Stanford applicants total--all rejected/waitlisted, I think. We had three Princeton applicants--one acceptance, one waitlist, and one rejection.

I'll probably be the first one from my school to go to Princeton in a couple years.

I forgot to mention my class size is like 380

No one goes anywhere at my school. In my class of 550 we have:

2 West Point (including my best friend)
1 Northwestern
1 Brandeis (me!)
1 Rice
2 Emory

...and that's it. We normally have one go to MIT a year but none this year. People at my school see the HOPE scholarship and all just go to UGA or GA Tech.

Of the people I know well...

2 Harvard
1 Princeton (with $40000 in financial aid. I'm so happy for her!)
2 MIT
1 Columbia
1 Vassar
1 Carnegie Mellon
4 Cornell
1 University of Chicago
2 Emory
2 (i think) UNC Chapel Hills
several Johns Hopkins and WUSTL people

west point
emory
washington u in st. louis
johns hopkins
stanford
duke
cornell
harvard
berkeley
northwestern

There's tons of JHU's, Cornell's are common... A lot of USC, UCLA, Berkeley, etc. (we are on the west coast)

I'm sure there's more.... I think there was one ivy (Yale) that didn't accept ANYBODY from our school this year, which a lot of people are bitter about.

Princeton University (1)
Stanford University (1)
Harvard University (1)
University of California Berkeley (3)
University of California Los Angelos (1)
University of California San Diego (3)
University of Puget Sound (1)

Princeton
Brown
Columbia
Wake Forest
West Point

Harvard, Cal Tech, Duke, Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia

Harvard, Penn, Cornell, Brown, Emory, Berkeley, Georgetown, Tufts, Wake Forest, Brandeis, Georgia Tech, NYU, Boston College, Rensselaer, Syracuse, West Point. Carleton, Pomona, Middlebury, Wesleyan, Vassar, Grinnell, Bates, Bryn Mawr, Oberlin, Macalester. That's not really a complete list but for a public school class of 171 we could do worse.

Val: U Miami
Sal: UCF (University of Central Florida)

I'm #3, and I plan to apply to LSE in September. LOL....

We never get many, because we're very small. Senior class this year was around 85, dont think these are very 'prestigious' but its good for around here...so here they are anyway.

Arizona State-full ride without application
Pitt
Penn State
Duquesne
Case Western

hmm, well...i guess we suck

Yale, UPenn, Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Brown, (no one I know of applied to Dartmouth), Georgetown, NYU, Duke, MIT, Caltech, Carnegie-Mellon, Wake Forest, BC, Vassar, Rochester, and I don't know about any others... (I just looked at all the "prestigious" schools you guys listed, and tried to remember who got in where....)

Someone probably got into Northwestern. I don't think anyone got into Stanford.
