<p>recommendations don't need to have anything to do with your extracurriculars. you could get two teachers who don't advise your clubs, coach your teams, or know you outside the classroom, and they could still be stellar recommendations. the rec is for inside the classroom, the ECs for outside.</p>
<p>the point is this: the odds are you will not get caught. the odds are that your story will be accepted (barring any contradictory statements that your counselors/teachers may make in passing, things along that vein) as true and your 'accomplishments' left unquestioned. admissions committees have trouble as is going through 20,000 applications and trying to find kids who fit into their school. they have little (if any) time to be paranoid about whether kid A is lying or not. </p>
<p>your application will be seen as a representative of who you are and what you did.<br>
if it ever is revealed that your application is different from who you are or what you did, then your application is null and your contract void. your degree at that college is revoked. </p>
<p>the odds are in your favor, but the stakes are very high. it's a foolhardy risk at best.</p>
