What private schools are like these public school?

Hey I'm wondering if you guys would list some private schools that people who go to certain public schools would also like...

I'm just asking this because I know alot of people going to state schools, but I'm looking for a smaller private school.

University of Colorado?
University of Michigan?
University of Georgia?

Thanks Alot

Syracuse, Tulane, Vanderbilt, USC

According to Princeton Review (a dubious source, I know), people who consider Michigan also consider:

Boston College
Boston University
Brown
Cornell
University of Chicago
Northwestern
NYU
Notre Dame
Penn
Southern Cal
Vanderbilt
WUSTL

IMO, Cornell and Northwestern would be the most similar.

For the University of Colorado, the PR “comparables” list includes: Boston College, Boston University, Colorado College, University of Denver, and Southern Cal.

For the University of Georgia: Emory, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest.

thanks alot awesome responses

Good examples except that Michigan, Colorado and Georgia are different schools with different admissions criteria and reputations.

Not to mention cultural differences.

We need more info from you to help you.

I just meant because those schools are all like the state school equivalent of what I’m looking for…

I think I’d enjoy the mountains and the climate in Colorado coming from FL in a big skiing family. (But I don’t ski haha)

Georgia because of the great music scene, football team, and frattyness.

And then Michigan because of the reputation and history. Also the football team, and Ann Arbor looks awesome.

I know these schools are all different “caliber” but I think I’d have a chance at all of them with 4.1 weighted GPA, and around a 1350..
