Of course this test isn't necessarily indicative of how respondents would behave in real life situations...:)

"This disorder is diagnosed more frequently and is often more severe among males. Schizoids usually do not seek treatment on their own and are often coaxed into it by a loved one."

HA. These disorders shouldn't be an issue as long as one can carry out his/her daily activities normally.

Everyone here is very Narcissistic lol. I wonder why ;) ........

Paranoid: High
(I didn't think it would be this high; I panic about grades but that's about it)

Schizoid: Low
(no surprise to me)

Schizotypal: Moderate
(I have some strange ways of doing things, so partly true...plus I have this knack of remembering dates so that counts too)

Antisocial: Low
(again, no surprise)

Borderline: Moderate
(I have a history of depression/anxiety; this makes sense)

Histrionic: High
(this is a surprise--I know I crave attention, probably since I'm an only child, but that's really the only thing that fits me on this one)

Narcissistic: Moderate
(the fact that I spend more on clothes than entertainment has something to do with this, I know)

Avoidant: High
(this is false--while I don't go to parties I certainly don't avoid social situations--it's just got to be something I'm comfortable with and I am NOT comfortable around drunks)

Dependent: High
(also sort of false, though I do like to work with a partner when doing a big paper--we will read each other's paper and look it over)

Obsessive-Compulsive: High
(this one is pretty true for me, since I don't stray from my methods very much at all)

Hmm, the only psychological disorder I know of is Trichotillomania (thought to be a form of OCD). And it might not be psychological. shrugs

being obsessive compulsive and having OCD are completely different. Most successful people are obsessive compulsive to some degree, but OCD keeps you from functioning normally.

Also, I really hate things like this....mental disorders aren't somthing to joke about. They are serious medical illnesses and they aren't something healthy people should wish or hope for or glamorize.

amen banana. psych disorders are definitely not cool and something to brag about.
its like someone saying 'i have a headache, i must have a brain tumor!' or 'boy im always thirsty, i think im diabetic!'

interesting..i had no idea I was paranoid lol

.....who wishes they are schizophrenic?! That's so pointless.

I mean, I guess I can kind of understand from the view of a psychologist better knowing what schizophrenia is like in order to better treat patients, but otherwise, you're just being stupid. That kind of paranoia usually drives schizophrenics to their deaths.
