I'm not currently applying to Cornell simply because I've never visited and just never really considered it. (I'm applying to Harvard and Brown as far as Ivy League goes.) However, I am interested in adding one more school to my application list.

So for students who love Cornell...what makes it so great for you?

The beauty of the campus…the academic opportunities offered by the college system and the size of the university…the diversity of the student body and social scene…the reputation and vast alumni networking system…hundreds of student organizations/clubs…great food and housing options…

Check out Cornell’s website and do a little research. Are there any specific programs that interest you?

Main reason would be because my dad keep selling Cornell to me… I don’t really stand a chance for admissions but I’m just trying for the heck of it

totally kidding
it’s the biggest ivy league school, which means diverse student body
it’s in ithaca which is in the middle of nowhere but the campus is amazing to look at
it’s like an engineering school in that it produces the 4th largest number of graduates who pursue engineering degrees, but the students aren’t ur typical engineering school students, the kids there are like students w/ yale personalities doing caltech work
