What qualifies as an official AP transcript?

Hi all...

Would the scores collegeboard sends in July qualify as an "official" transcript of my AP Scores?

I'm confused as to whether or not I'm required to take a placement test for math (as an entering freshman at University of Florida). The following is on UF's website

[quote]
Alternative Placement Scores: Students with any of the alternative placement scores listed below already on file at UF* are advised to complete the Calculus Readiness Assessment to check that they are prepared for UF’s MAC 2233 or MAC 2311, but they are not required to achieve the minimum score(s) stated above...............

a score of 3, 4 or 5 on the AP Calculus AB or BC exam......

Already on file at UF refers to scores that have already been entered into UF's electronic student-records system and can therefore be detected by the automated prerequisite-checker. In general, this happens within a few days of UF's receipt of an official transcript of a student's test score(s). There is only one exception to the already on file at UF rule: At Preview, IF A STUDENT HAS IN HAND AN OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT OF TEST SCORE, a Preview adviser may use these scores to place the student into a calculus class. This exception will be made only during Preview, never at the mathematics department.

I scored a 4 on the AB test my junior year and have the score report collegeboard send me last July. Would that count as an official transcript? I took the BC test this past year and am almost positive I scored a 5.

Thanks all!!

I tried calling the admissions office, but the person who answered was as clueless as me.

an “official AP transcript” is your AP score report collegeboard sends directly to the college. If you filled out the college choice with the college code on your first scantron of AP testing season, they will send it automatically. If you failed to do so, or something went wrong, then you will have to call collegeboard and ask for them to send the score. They will charge you money for this service :/

The report will be similar to the one you get in the mail, and should be cumulative and have all your AP scores from high school. If you have a student account with access to this information, you should be able to check very soon if the college got them and maybe even see your scores early (colleges get them early; they might even have them now).
