<p>In the UC app's activities section, there is a place for you to list your "Honors and Awards". While something like National Honors Society definitely counts, what about things like publishing a research paper or mobile app or presenting at a conference? Do they belong in this section? I looked everywhere and could not find anywhere else to list the aforementioned things. </p>
<p>Is there an “activities” or “Extracurricular activities” section? Use them as warranted. The *category<a href=“honor/awards%20vs.%20ECs”>/i</a> is not as important as the fact that you convey your items. The question: is NHS an award or an activity comes up 800 times each year. To the colleges, it doesn’t matter-- as long as the info is conveyed – that’s all they want.</p>
