What questions should interviewees ask?

I know there are threads out there about common questions that interviewers ask potential students. But what are some good questions for students to ask interviewers? There is always that time in the interview when an interviewer asks me if I have any questions. I can usually come up with a few, but genuinely good questions are hard to think of. Any advice?
The best one I have learned is from my dad- always ask the interviewer what he/she likes best about that college. It makes you seem more personable, and you always get an interesting answer!

From my experience there are two helpful suggestions I can give you:
1. I think being honest shows a general interest in the school, so don't be afraid to speak the truth. For example, I asked my UChicago interviewer "Is it true that UChicago is the place where fun goes to die?" If you have any reservations about attending the university, I would feel free to ask the interviewer.
2. All of my interviews were conducted by fairly young individuals (graduated from the college within 10 years), so if you get so lucky to have an interviewer who recently attended the college, be sure to ask them about their personal experiences. For example, I asked my Rice interviewer "What did you do for fun off and on campus?".
Overall, remember that the interviewer is trying to sell the school to you as much as your trying to sell yourself to them. They are trying to persuade you to attend their university so give them a chance to do just this. When my Rice interviewer asked what other schools I was applying to, he spent a good 10 minutes bashing each school and telling my why Rice is better, it was awesome. So just be yourself, be honest, and things will go just fine.

If the interviewer is an alum...ask why he/she chose the school over others or what they think makes their university stand out from others.
