<p>have 3.65 GPA unweighted in a very good public high school in Connecticut. Weighted it is probably about 3.8-3.95. I got a 30 on my ACT. I also have a very high interest in sports and athletics. My extra curricular activities consist of
1. Tennis (high school, captain of a state champion and division team, usta tournaments, usta team tennis)
2. Buddy tennis which is helping disabled children to learn a sport and mostly have a good time
3. A couple of runs for diseases such as cancer, leukemia, athsma, etc.
4. Counselor in training at Nike Tennis camps
5.President of Korea club south (just a random club for fun)
6. I have a sports blog on facebook and a sports instagram page with over 3500 followers
7. 40 hours of community service in africa
8. Helped renovate an old history site in my town
9 Book Club</p>
<p>I still have a whole summer to add onto this list with many other athletic related things.</p>

<p>Wisc parent here – UW could go either way, many qualified students turned away. If your school has Naviance, that could help you see how students from your school have done at UW. A 3.65/30 puts you right in the middle, especially for OOS. If you think you might be able to push the ACT up to about a 32, that could help. Also, pay attention to the prompts for UW and write specific essays for UW. Good luck! </p>

<p>You are a reach OOS for Michigan. </p>
<p>You should look at the common data sets for admitted students. You’re low for OOS. And GPA is very, very important at Michigan. They do not weight GPA in their calculations. </p>
<p>@midwestmomfboys What percentage chance do you think i have to get in. My academics as you said are in the middle but what about my extracurriculars. Are they middle, lower, or above</p>
<p>You do need much higher GPA and higher ACT scores for UMich as oos. It is a reach for you.</p>
