On the SLU web page....38.6% increase in the number of applications for the class of 2011 as of 2/15/07 with more expected. The acceptance rate is going to chance significately this year.

An update-- A letter received today from the Dean of Admissions (Terry Cowdrey) says that SLU has received more than 4,500 applications, an increase of 43% over last year. And last year was a record year for applicants to SLU. I wonder if the online common application, SAT optional or the investment the University has made in the facilities, programs and faculty is the reason for the huge jump?

I took the SAT again and got 1920 (11 essay).
