<p>On the SLU web page....38.6% increase in the number of applications for the class of 2011 as of 2/15/07 with more expected. The acceptance rate is going to chance significately this year.</p>

<p>An update-- A letter received today from the Dean of Admissions (Terry Cowdrey) says that SLU has received more than 4,500 applications, an increase of 43% over last year. And last year was a record year for applicants to SLU. I wonder if the online common application, SAT optional or the investment the University has made in the facilities, programs and faculty is the reason for the huge jump?</p>

I am damn disappointed to be rejected. They say I'm rejected because I apply for fin aid, and they have limited fund

<p>Try to remember this is only one of many excellent schools, all with different needs to round out their student body. Trust that there will bea pefect match for each of you and your unique abilities.</p>
