what religion are you!?!

I'm an atheist, and as silly as it sounds I think of some people (not all, there are defn some respectable ones) with religion a bit.. I don't know, stupid. I just can't imagine anyone believing in supernatural powers.

Thousands of years ago people used to believe in crazy things- for example in my home country there was a God of Dragon who brought drought or famine if the village didn't give the God a beautiful girl. That was because humans that time were not educated enough to know that natural disasters have a scientific reason behind them- at least, a better reason than the wrath of a God of Dragon. Then there was the Greek gods, African witchcraft, etcetc that people depended on for "reasons"- humans just wanted some reasons why things were happening the way they were. And now that science improved, we know why those things happen.

So I see Christianity and other still respected religions equal to the God of Dragon and the Greek Gods. I bet thousands of years later, humans will wonder why their ancestors could be so silly, like we do of our ancestors right now.

How many non-religious Christians go to church on Christmas, Halloween (or All Saints Day), or Easter?

[/quote]

My stepmom's side of family is extremely religious, and I follow them to church on Christmas so I can get a gift. And I sometimes go on Easter for candies and chocolates.
When I was young, I also used to go to a nearby Buddhist temple on "Buddha's Day" because they gave out choco-pies.
Oh man, if gods really do exist by any chance in the million, I am so going to hell or whatever the bad place is or reincarnate as a weed.
