<p>yes - for the IMO/IPHO types with otherwise stellar applications. I don't see why it's considered a bad thing to be a school that some people can be sure of getting into. A school can be just as selective as a school which is a safety for no one, but just be more transparent about what kind of student they are looking for - I would consider that a good thing.</p>
