What SAT II should I take with 2 weeks of prep?

I have 2 weeks to prepare, disregarding any prior classes, which subject test do you recommend that I take? I am pretty good at memorization. I already know I will take a math.

take a science, since everything else is more knowledge based than concept based, with few exceptions.

I recommend a history. No understanding needed, just factual memorization.

a history requires a LOT of memorization, especially for 2 weeks…but if you can manage to remember all that information, then go right ahead. I still say you should go for the sciences.

2 weeks for history is doable, believe me:)

Try chemistry.

^ Uh, I kind of disagree. Chemistry’s hard to learn in 2 weeks, even with a good memory. It’s more about understanding. But if you had a good chem class before and did well, 2 weeks is enough to study for it. I took the chem SAT without any studying after 2 years of chemistry class, and got a good score.

I think world or US history is probably easier to study for…

would anyone recommend biology with 3 weeks to prepare? I’m kinda bad at the sciences…:(

Try World History. Pick up a copy of Barron’s AP World History, get through that twice, take the 3 released practiced tests from CB. That’s a guaranteed 750+.

Physics. Pick up a Sparknotes Physics SAT2 book, and do two to three chapters a day. It’s really just memorizing formulas and applying them in situations presented by the test, so it’s fairly simple.

LITERATURE.

you really don’t even need to study for this test. maybe just take a simple practice test and you should be fine.
