I signed up for Chemistry, Math 2, and Literature. I have never taken any before, but my friend just told me that literature is something that I wouldn't be good at and I realized it wasn't what I thought it was. What SAT II test should I take instead if I want to FOR SURE never have to take any more for college admissions in the fall (because I want to take the SAT I again if I do bad). I am a junior and these are my classes I've taken this year: ap calc bc, ap euro (word history sat II?), ap eng lang, ap econ, ap chem and I took ap bio and ap us history last year but I don't really remember them. Should I take math 1 instead of literature? Would Math 2, Math 1, and Chem combo be ok for colleges?

they dont want to see both the maths. its either one or the other.

most colleges only want 2 SAT2 now with the SAT writing section being part of the SAT.

if u still want 3(for some ivies and such..)
math,chem, world history.

What types of colleges are you applying to and what majors are you considering?

I would stick with the Math IIC (don't take both math tests). Also, I havn't taken EHAP or the World History SAT II, but is the material in a European history class enough for the World history SAT II?

Take chem and math IIC, hey if your in ap eng lang you can definately do well on the SATII literature. ITs just a little harder CR than is on the actual New sat, so don't sweat it, its much easier than anything you would do in an ap course.

I'm going to apply to ivy or ivy-level colleges. I'm not sure if the material from Euro is good enough for world history, my friend says its only about 20% overlapping. Even though I am in AP English, I only got a 670 on my verbal, albeit I'm pretty happy with that because it was in the 500s before. So that's why I don't know if I should take literature because I need to get high scores for the colleges I'm applying to. Would I be ok with just math II and chem for ivy schools? Don't the top schools want 3? That's what I heard. I'm really good at math, so that's why I'm thinking to do math I instead, although I know most schools don't want to see both math I and II...

what's the difference between mathl and ll?

math II has pre-calc concepts, math I only has alg 1, 2, and geometry

My S's wonderful Euro teacher said NOT to take the SAT II World. Euro does not cover enough of the material.
S is sort of in the same boat- debating what to take. He took Math IC in May because he didn't get to prep at all. He is probably going to take IIC and Lit in June. My D did well in Lit 2 years ago with NO prep.

Don't do math Ic and IIC, instead take IIC, chem and bio, as you were in ap bio, it should come back really fast if you look over a review book. Ortherwise take a language or literature

YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE 2 SUBJECT TEST IN THE SAME SUBJECT ARES(CHEM AND BIO)! tHEY WANT TO SEE DIFFERENT TESTS FROM VARIOUS AREAS. CHEM AND BIO WOULD BE COUNTED IN THE SAME SCIENCE AREA. JUST WARNING YOU GUYS.
