Alright, I've signed up for Literature and Math IIC in October. I may need a third one in November, and I can't take Latin (only offered in December, too late for ED). Is there any, ANY, SAT II that I can pick up fairly quickly and study a month for? I'm taking AP World History this year, and we're just beginning, but could I prep for the SAT II US History or World History fairly quickly with a Princeton Review book? What do you think?

US History has a lot of specific information in it, so I do not recommend it. I suspect the same about World History.

Literature is probably your best bet. I assume you are good at English, since you are taking Latin. Literature requires critical analysis skills that good readers have. If you did well (800) on the CR, then go for Literature.

My bad...now you know how good a reader I am :P.

If you have taken Physics, studying for that should be easy. I hear that Princeton Review's Physics books is particularly good. I hear Chemistry requires a huge amount of memorization, and I do not know anything about Biology.

If you cannot take Physics, then you are left with only the two Histories... so cram! If you study the guide and read the material, you should get either high 600s or low 700s. 800 is probably out of reach as the US test has a few very specific questions, but you will do fine.

Do the schools you're applying to require three SAT IIs? If not don't sweat it.

I wouldn't cram for physics either. If you haven't taken the course, I wouldn't attempt it on your own unless you're a science whiz.

One does require 3, the Big One (Pton). So it seems like my best bet is a history test. Final question: Which one? I gather that World History may be a bit easier and might have a better curve, but I could be wrong.
