What SAT score do I need?

I'm in my sophomore year of a community college in California and currently still possess my 4.0 (just got my semester grades) and I want to transfer to Stanford.

I never took the SAT's in high school, so I'm taking them in January.

What kind of score do you think I would need to be competitive? I just took my first practice test and got a 2000.

I assume I need like at least a 2200-ish?

^ Stanford is all over the place in terms of test score admissions- if you look on the admitted threads, there are TONS of people with +2300 who get rejected, and people with 2000s who get accepted.

So yes, aim for 2000ish as the minimum, but I’d put a lot more work into showing your ECs/passions/rec etc.

The Higher the better; depends on how good your EC/grades/Passion are; but aim for the top
