So I took two SAT’s.
1st SAT
CR: 600
Math: 600
Writing: 610 essay 11
2nd SAT
CR: 710
Math: 630
Writing 580 essay 8
My writing score went down significantly and I was wondering if I should send both scores to show my writing is not that low? However the 1st score obviously has lower stats then my 2nd score. Thoughts? My major is in the sciences and I am planning on applying to the UC system.

i would still send the higher one regardless. Plus, if you are majoring in science, I wouldn’t see why writing would be entirely important (don’t get me wrong it is still important but not as much as math for example). Your math is higher on the second one, and for your major, that seems more impressive.
Just by curiosity, which UCs are you planning on applying to?
Your writing score only went down by 30 while your math went up by 30 and reading by 110, so definitely send the second scores!
Your CR is really strong on the 2nd but the writting is stong on the first so send both. Don’t most colleges superscore? Im not sure about UCs but…
