Last spring I got a 2030, 1290 between the first 2 sections. I'm retaking it a week from today. My GPA is ~94.5, my class rank is 15/75. I take all the honors and AP offered, and go to a small competitive private school. My ECs are good, and my essays should be too. Since 66% of UT undergrads are in the top 10%, what SAT score would make it impossible for them to reject me? 1350 between the first 2 sections?

33% of the class is in your situation..
your GPA is high..
and you have a high SAT, probably higher than average..

and they will consider that you went to a small, probably competitive school...

dont worry that much about it.. you\'ll get in.. as long as you have good recs, essays, and ECs.. that\'s what matters most in your situation..

Do you live in Texas? That matter a TON. If you're OOS, you should get your SAT's into the 1300's. If you get a 1350, I highly highly doubt they'd rejected you. Their avg SAT is only a 1230, and you would pretty much kill the ranges if you got a 1350 or so...

SAT - Verbal Range (25-75%): 540-660
SAT - Math Range (25-75%): 570-680

I do live in Texas, and yes, their average is 1230, but its because a lot of students get into the 10% in urban public schools, especially DISD ones, and score in the 1100's.
