I’m trying to pass the time until march when we get scholarship info. I could figure out which one I’d get if I had normal stats. I’m OOS with a 31 ACT and a 3.7/4 (4.2/5) weighted gpa. On the website they use weighted gpas out of 5 for the average. My ACT is average for McKissick but my gpa is average for Woodrow. I need at least Flinn to guarantee my attendance. I still could go with any scholarship but the decision would be easier with a better one. Any ideas?
on your other threads you said you had a 3.1-3.3UW and a 3.7-3.8 weighted… nobody can give you accurate info when you lie
@jackoneill how is that a lie? I have an 85 unweighted and 91 weighted
I heard back about my merit scholarship on February 24th. Got the Cooper. Check my stats on my old posts if you want.
@as1799 Since you posted in February, you might already have received your scholarship. My son applied early, so I’m not sure about the regular decision dates for scholarship notifications. Anyway, I was told that the competition was higher this year. Mine had a 33 ACT and I think a 4.6 something GPA (weighted by USC standards which is much different than how his hs weights). We had hoped he would get the Cooper but he wound up with the McKissick.
Also, I think that @jackoneill may have misinterpreted your post. You listed “3.7/4 (4.2/5) weighted.” When I first read it, I assumed it to mean your unweighted and weighted, but then I noticed that you actually showed your GPA on a 4 point scale and then a 5 point scale.
My S has the GPA for McKissick and the ACT for Woodrow.
I was hoping they would meet in the middle with Flinn.
Nope, he got the lower Woodrow. But we’re grateful.
