Any urban cities apart from Southern part. Will not ask for financial aids and no limits on financial. Which schools are worth trying and What are safety school? Am I reachable for Top 100?

Your SAT I score is out of /1600 or /2400? Your GPA seems to be a bit low, unless you can account for that (say the valedictorian in the school only got a 3.1). Also, for internationals, your chances do go down a lot if you are asking for aid from these schools.

Thanks, but would you kindly recommend any universities?

Where wold you like to study? Obviously, if your score is 1500/2400, that shuts out Harvard et al. Is there any specific region, size, or type of school you want to go to?

New York, Boston, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Chicago etc. But not Southern part like Texas. Thanks for answering

Suffolk in Boston, University of Buffalo, Seton Hall, James Madison, St. Joe’s, University of Cincinnati, Iowa State, St. Louis University, Clarkson, Hofstra, Iona. My biggest suggestion is Temple University in Philly, esp. for business.

Any chances for top 80 including Penn State, Michigan State, U of Pittsburgh?

michigan state would be your best shot out of those, but your chances there wouldnt be great.

No chance at PSU or Pitt. I got WL at Pitt with much higher SATs and GPA in state. If you want to go the satellite route and transfer to PSU or Pitt, that works. MSU would be a very high reach.

Any more recommended university?

Whats the satellite route ???

You go to another campus of Penn State or Pitt and transfer automatically after a certain period of time. I think you need a 3.0. Most people start that way.

But am I still one of Penn’s or Pitt’s student??

Well yeah, but you arent at main campus. You still get a Pitt/PSU degree that comes from the main campus.

So, What is a proper name for it when put in application? Are Penn and Pitts the only Uni that offer this? if no, could you name some of the Top 50 Uni that offer this

THANKS

I know other schools have other campuses, but I’m not sure of any other school that does it the same way.

if you dont mind answering this, what’s wrong with the south?

No disrespect, my aunty earned Bachelor degree in South and she told me there is still racism while she was there. My friend, He’s black and he said that as well.

P.S I’ve never been in US before

bump – - – - -

Well the truth is there’s racism everywhere, the South is just given a bad name for it. I’m not going to lie, we do have our problems, but as long as you avoid places like Vidor, Texas, and little bitty towns you’ll be fine.

Rice in Houston is an EXCELLENT school in Houston, a very diverse city. I’m a minority living in Texas and I have never experienced racism.

Emory and Vanderbilt would technically be in the South too, and they’re both awesome schools. Cities the size of Atlanta aren’t homogeneous, you certainly wouldn’t be the only minority there. I would say give the south another look.

We’re really not all that bad. :)
