<p>did you not get into UCLA/Berkeley? I mean, power to you if you chose SD over those as that seems to be a common trend among certain people on this forum, but Cal and UCLA offer all the solid education and prestige at a public school price.</p>
<p>And johnhong, the other posters meant no harm by it. It's simply rare to find someone who has gotten into that many ultra-prestigious private schools and chooses UCSD, so forcibly people thought you were joking. Additionally, on similar threads people DID joke "Harvard, Yale, Oxford, etc."</p>
<p>But anyway, I am turning down UCSB, UCSC, SLO, UCD, SDSU, and Universit</p>
