Ive recently been admitted to the colleges of engineering at the following schools:

1) University of Massacusetts Amherst (out of state)

2) Pennsylvania State University (out of state)

3) Case Western Reserve University

Penn State will cost me about $ 26,000 per year, Case will cost about $14,000 a year, and I havent recieved any financial aid info from UMass yet. I am planning on majoring in EE or ME. I had to apply out of state, because i live in Oklahoma. Where should I go? Is Penn State really worth an extra 12,000 dollars compared to Case? What should I do?

Did you ever consider any in state options? I think OU and OSU is very comparable to Penn State and a lot cheaper. But perhaps you wanted to get away. I think all three schools are very comparable, go where it is the cheapest, unless you really like a certain campus or certain region of the country.

I personally would goto Case. I recently saw their EECS facilities and they were great :). the fin AID factor just seems to be alot better at Case for me. :)(BTW Im trying to decide between Case and PSU as well, but Im unsure as to which ill be choosing :))
