I am going to be a sophomore in University at Albany. I am a computer science major. I applied to Stony Brook as a transfer last semester, but got rejected. So, I just applied again. If I get rejected by Stony Brook again. What school should I transfer to. I can’t afford any private schools like NYU.
Ualbany doesn’t give me the quality of education I want. So, any other good and cheap schools I should consider?
SUNY Buffalo is strong in CS and more selective (and perhaps more academically rigorous) than Albany. The same can be said for Binghamton.
Bing is not that good at computer science though
Binghamton’s CS department offers over 50 courses across a range of topics. This, in combination with the significant academic preparedness of their students as measured by objective factors, would tend to indicate that Bing has one of the SUNY’s stronger programs.
