What schools accept test scores ( ACT,SAT) given on transcripts?

Although I'm taking the SAT in October, my school does mail test scores on transcripts, and was just curious on what schools accept the scores given on transcripts.

I’d like to expand the question to AP Scores, if anyone knows. It’d be a pain to send them to all the schools I’m applying to.

From what I have seen, most schools want official SAT/ACT scores - not just what is on the transcript.

For AP exams, however, since the grades don’t really count for anything until you are accepted/enrolled, I think exams scores on the transcript are fine.

Colleges want the official scores; those included on your transcript are not sufficient.

Btw, I would tell your school NOT to publish any of your scores on your transcript. They really have no right to do this, and when they do, you lose control of choosing which scores you want to release to colleges.

Ohio Wesleyan will.

Double-check these, but here’s a tentative list: Knox, Williams, Lewis & Clark, Reed, Kalamazoo, Hobart & William Smith, Wittenberg, Lawrence, University of Minnesota-Morris, Clark U, Wooster, The College of New Jersey, Hanover, Denison, Hamilton.
