If applying to UPitt what other schools are you planning on applying to?

penn state
temple

Princeton
U Virginia
Ohio State

If Pitt ends up cheaper than UVA b/c of scholarship money and I like the looks of campus and their Russian program, I’d have a hard time passing it up.

Pitt has really good foreign language programs and many study abroad opportunities.

Kcarls, yes, you would have a hard time passing up a full scholarship from Pitt. Check out Pitts Russian/Slavic program; I think it’s impressive. My D received the Honors College full tuition scholarship and is now at Pitt. She had been in the VA Governor’s School for all four yrs of hs, graduated salutatorian, and was admitted to UVA as an Echols Scholar… At Pitt, she’s met students with outstanding academic credentials. You’d be surprised…

BTW, she’s studying Asian languages, and the school offers many hard-to-find language courses…

Yes! Another language person interested in Pitt! (I’m thinking about linguistics and maybe some Russian)

Pitt’s my first choice, but I’m also looking at Ohio State and Miami U.

I LOVE Pitt’s Less-Commonly Taught Languages Center and all it’s options.

I’m also applying to NYU, UVA, UMich AA, UMaryland CP, Georgetown, and possibly OSU as another safety.

Delaware, Villanova, Northeastern.

Northwestern, Case Western, UVA, Duquesne, Bowling Green, Miami (Ohio), maybe Duke or the University of Chicago

It has a lot to do with where I can get the most scholarship money though. I’m not sure where I’ll end up

USAFA, WUStL, Rice, GaTech, RHIT
