I am currently a junior with a 3.8 weighted GPA. I have scored a 33 on my ACT exam and partake in many clubs in school. The one thing that I believe that hopefully separates me from other students is the fact that I have my own business. In addition, I have my own charity organization. I am aiming for schools like the University of Southern California and Georgetown. What are my chances?
Additionally, I will be paying for college with a part of my company’s earnings and therefore will not be seeking any financial aid.
I am no expert, but from the little information you have given, it seems like you may have a good chance at these schools. The GPA seems somewhat low, but the business thing seems like a good hook.
