Just curious.

You rejected UCLA, didn't you?

UCSB, UCD, UCI, and pepperdine

lol for5saken, i didn't know you were still using CC. Yeah, i rejected UCLA and UCSD b/c they're horrible schools (i'm kidding; i like Poly's environment more). Cal Poly rocks! Future applicants, PLEASE visit the campus and city before making a decision. Staying at SLO for a weekend really reinforced my decision to go there. If you're a minority applicant (not white), be sure to look into PolyCultural Weekend (if you get accepted).

i rejected berkeley, ucla, ucsd, ucd, ucsb, pacific, and longbeach for EE at poly... the program is awesome and i love the environment

mathfreak were you at open house?

umm.. damn
i didnt know you guys would pass up UCB and UCLA.. makes me a little more secure about myself.. hahaha

but yeah.. any scholarships that you guys are passing up too?
im rejecting

UCD - 4k
UCR - 20k
SJSU - 20k
UCSB

hey..no i wasn't able to make it there. i had a baseball game on friday. ur majoring in EE right? the pictures you have on the internet are awesome, im sure it wasn't the same as actually going to the open house though

i passed up pacific 12k/yr... but they are private so i still would have paid a lot.

o and berkeley and ucla was the math dept. not engineering so its not as prestigious as engineeing and honestly I couldn't live in berkeley anyway

too liberal for yah or wat?
i like slo cuz its not what im used to at mission -_-
theres actually a life outside of school

haha yeah actually. and other than that i just hate the area... and with ucla, i just didn't want to be around so many damn people. im definitely for the "hands on" experience rather than lecture based

yeahh.. i hear you.
the hands on thing seems to be a lot different and ineresting compared to what most of us are used to. the same old dreary bullsht from textbooks..
are you going to slo for sure?

yep..im definitely going to slo. it was a pretty tough decision but im happy with it. my housing stuff is in and everything, i just have to take that stupid ept thing cuz my reading scores are ridiculously low. what's your major?

im EE too!
all right ee ppl
theres a lot of us arent there?
where'd you sign up for housing.

i signed up for sierra madre with a friend from my highschool.

his major is ag business btw

thats good. rooms are longer
but isnt it really far from teh EE buildings?

o im not sure... i hope its not that bad. would yosemite be better? should i change it

alright i just emailed my cousin that goes there about the housing so when she gets back to me il post it

yosemite is way farther.. id reccomend red bricks - i think santa lucia and north mountain are both for engineering majors.. they are closer to class and the food place.
