<p>Turning down my Appointment to the United States Naval Academy, (Annapolis). I'm compromising though: I will do NROTC/Marine Corps option at Harvard, so I will still be a Marine when I graduate.</p>

<p>Californiakid, I noticed a lot of your schools were techie (Stanford, MIT, etc.) What are you thinking of concentrating in at Harvard? (just for my own curiosity since I will me making a similar decision)</p>
<p>I was thinking of doing math/engineering based, but now I've transitioned more towards economics, business, and astronomy. We'll see what happens :).</p>
<p>I'm glad to see there are other kids who turned down Oxford for Harvard...I'm not the only one now! ;)</p>
