<p>I’m definitely attending and I turned down: UC Santa Barbara, LMU, Pitzer, U of Georgia, U of Miami, Northeastern, Drexel, Marquette and Drake.</p>

<p>What’s the thought in 2 prefers of Chapman over LMU? We are from the east and looking at Chapman, USC, LMU, Oxy, Santa Clara, Chapman & Pitzer for next year and just wondering.</p>

<p>I literally live like 5 minutes away from the school and wanted to get away, but the school couldn’t be more perfect for me.</p>
<p>For my daughter is was the size and quality of the music department, she’s a Vocal Performance major. Chapman is also much more upscale and the dorms seemed nicer and larger. The new dining hall is fantastic, and finally my daughter has always dreamed of attending a school with an “east coast college town feel”. The city of Orange really fit the bill.</p>

<p>same question as ejw3742. Why did you choose Chapman over Pitzer??? (I’m attending Chapman this fall by the way).</p>
<p>I chose Chapman over Pitzer because I felt that it was a better fit for me. I think the location is slightly better than Claremont and the general feel of the school is more suited to me.</p>
<p>Plus, the business school (my major) at Chapman is well regarded…they don’t even have one at Pitzer or any Claremont Colleges I dont think. And they gave me $20,000 scholarship which helped a lot…</p>
<p>I passed on Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, San Jose State, and San Francisco State.</p>
