What schools did you turn down for Trinity?

<p>well, an attempt to get this dead forum going again, and I'm also curious, thought it'd be interesting to know to some degree how people regard Trinity University. Feel free to elaborate why you picked Trinity over the other choices.</p>

<p>I'll go first:</p>

<p>Villanova University
Lawrence University</p>

<p>It was a very difficult decision to make - I was torn between Villanova and Trinity. Money wasn't an issue because my contributions at both schools were roughly the same. Villanova has better reputation, and of course you just can't beat Philly. I chose Trinity in the end I guess because of a less preppy atmosphere, small size, nicer dorms and more study abroad opportunities.</p>

<p>:D I heard you chose Villanova at first, however, ended up choosing Trinity.
I also sent my deposit to WPI. On 5/1 Trinity offered me an extended FA package that will help my families not have to mortgage our house if I attend WPI :smiley:

<p>wow, duongviethai! We chose exactly the same colleges that we applied, WPI, Centre, OWU and Depauw! But I will go to Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Haha! I am from China by the way.</p>
