taking SAT II in Dec

p.s legacy at northwestern

ide say not good

you need a better act score, and then were talkin business.

So like
get a 32 at least for nw

You can retake the ACT and also try that SAT. You may do better at the SAT. Legacy may help at Northwestern. I would say that you have a shot at schools just below the Ivy level. U of Rochester is one of the more accessible ones. Wake Forest and USC may be good. You should also look at liberal arts colleges that are well ranked.

Tufts, Brandies and Holy Cross all have very good pre-med programs. All are schools a step below Ivies . Holy Cross is also SAT optional as is Bowdoin.

Tufts and Northwestern are both reaches, but it's viable one of them would love to have you, especially with your awesome volunteering ECs... Both schools' admitted students have about the same stats but the acceptance rate at Tufts is lower. That, and the fact that you're a legacy at Northwestern indicates you're more likely to fare better there.
