I would like some LA options and NA options if you can find em.

Stats or rankings can be useful

additional question, Why do LA schools rarely make these rankings? I can name a couple that have better resources than plenty of the so called "Top Twenty"

No idea what you mean by “these rankings” or what stats you’re looking for.

Irregardless (just kidding) for strong art history and strong art studio:
Williams, Wesleyan, Hamilton, Vassar, Kenyon, Skidmore, Conn College. Smith if you are female.
Yale and Brown if you have the grades.

Oop, typo. I mean National Universities. Also how the heck does Kenyon make that list? Also Hamilton didn’t even have a studio building last time I visited, they were just now building one.

Check out art history at Johns Hopkins, and any opportunities there to enroll in studio classes at the nearby Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

All these schools are extremely selective. Some of the state universities with strong art history programs (see the NRC link above) may also have decent studio programs.

It’s correct that Hamilton is currently building a new Theater and Studio Arts Complex. This is a positive. It’s not correct that they do not currently have studio facilities. Of course they do.

You asked about strong art history + art studio. Kenyon is excellent in both.
