<p>I have the exact same question. I did poorly on the second one I took which was required by my school. I’m concerned because I don’t want that score to be the determining factor of my admission. I know that all schools claim to only look at your best score but wouldn’t it save applicants time, stress, and money to send in the score they most want schools to see? Maybe schools aren’t so blind when it comes to your not as good scores…
And I wish the ACT website had more resources for test takers. College Board has a detailed list of schools and their policies regarding SAT scores (with Score Choice being available now). ACT would do well to do the same thing considering the fact that most people don’t realize that they must send in all their scores until application time comes around.</p>
