<p>Yeah...so I got a regular-sized envelope yesterday and, because I had heard of schools giving acceptances in regular envelopes, I was like, "Eh, it might be okay!" Yeah, it was a rejection. Oh well!</p>

<p>Manhattan sent a small envelope acceptance, although it was thicker than just one page inside.</p>
<p>Ursinus College does... it was so small and early I thought it was another letter about "opportunities at Ursinus College!" so was more than a little suprised when I opened it.</p>
<p>Case Western, with "YOU'RE IN!" message right next to the address window.</p>
<p>vanderbilt has a pretty small envelope.</p>

<p>sorry, but seriously, people are starting to obsess a little too much...knowing what size envelope to pray for doesn't change the actual decision. everything's done, and out of our hands. relax.</p>

<p>I work part-time and get home about 1 hour before DS gets home from school. When I open the mailbox and see those envelopes, but I have to wait for DS to come home and open them.... AARRGGHH, I have no patience!</p>
<p>USC sends merit scholarship letters in small envelopes, which you get way before the actual acceptance letter -- so if you got a scholarship letter, you're probably in.</p>
<p>wait is this usually true (about USC's scholarship letters)? because i received a letter, but it told me that i did not get a scholarship but i will be able to get some if i am admitted...but i dunno?</p>
<p>hm... I don't know. I got a letter in January last year telling me that I was a finalist for the full ride scholarship.</p>

<p>Yes, I apologize; Union sent small envelopes for ED acceptances, so I incorrectly assumed that they did the same for RD acceptances.</p>
<p>My understanding is that at least one of the art schools sends thin. One of the parents mentioned this. Could have been MassArt.</p>
