What schools should I apply to? (chance me!)

I'm currently a junior and I'm starting to think of what kind of schools I should apply to. Any suggestions would be great.

I go to a competitive high school (in top 50 in nation). My grades have a general pattern of improvement- all A's this year!

GPA: 3.627 UW (inc freshmen year)
3.856 W
3.792 UW (without freshmen)
4.125 W
Many AP and Honors classes. Most strong in math and sciences.

Class Rank: In top 50% (due to freshmen year grades)

SAT: 730 CR, 740 W, 770 M (total: 2240) planning to retake
Math ii: 800 Bio: 800

Extracurriculars:
Ethnic Folk Dance- since age 4 (competitive- won first place many time, went up to international level)
Ethnic Vocal- since 3rd grade
Tae Kwon Do- black belt
Art- mainly painting
Volunteer work
Active in a religious organization

I also overcame a medical condition in freshmen year which prevented me from attending school for about 5 months, hence the gpas without freshmen year.

What kind of schools should I look to apply to? Would the Ivies (or other top private schools) be too out of reach? What about UC Berkeley, UCLA?

Thanks!

Ivies would be out of reach but the UC’s may be in reach if your UC GPA is close to your W GPA. Your score is very high for all of them which goes a long way towards compensating for the low rank.

bump…

your SAT II scores are really impressive altho if you wanna go for Ivies I’d shoot for at least 2300 on the SAT I…idk…
do you do any other extracurriculars that are competitive/give honors and awards? b/c those might give you a leg up on the app…

I think your in a Berkeley, depending on you EC’s, definitely in at UCLA like hmom said if your UC GPA is same as weighted,
Ivy’s might be a little out of reach unless you raise your SAT (which is already very high)
