What Schools Should I Apply to?

I am currently a Junior at the International School of Beijing
I repeated my junior year to be given the chance to participate in the IB Diploma program.
My Gpa from my old school (9-11)- 2.7
My Gpa from ISB (11-12) - 3.3
Sat- 1650 combined
Very large number of EC's including Forensics, Varsity Sports, Theater, Charity Groups, Film groups, MUN, and many more.
I know 4 languages (English, Spanish, French, Chinese)
Lived in Argentina, the U.S, and China
Possibly two very good reccs from very respected prof and counselors.
I plan on going to a small LAC, but can't seem to find one that would accept a candidate like me. Any help?
Thanks in advance!

Are you a citizen of the US?
If not, what is your TOEFL score?
What can you afford?

I can think of quite a few LAC’s in my state that you quite possibly could get into. You need to look outside of the top 100 US News ratings.

Agree with Haystack. And if money isn’t an issue, there are plenty of places that will take you. Here’s a list that has lower SAT scores but graduation rates over 40%. Don’t know about gpas.

Are you going to test again? Your SAT is going to hurt you at many schools.

What is your SAT breakdown?

What is your Toefl score?

How much will your parents spend each year? If they won’t pay full freight at a private ($60k per year), then your choices will really narrow.

What is your intended major?

What type of climate? Any ideas on the kind of student body?

Poster above listed Flagler & I agree. I’m a current student & they’re VERY receptive to internationals.

I was going to state Flagler or York. Both are “inexpensive” as far as private colleges are concerned and are very receptive to international students. We had quite a few at York.
