What schools should I apply to?

I still don't know what schools I want to apply to. I have just a few in my mind like Cooper Union, Columbia , Cornell, NYU Poly, All Cunys(Macaulay honors). I'm not leaving NY so anything in NY. Thinking about majoring in chemical engineering. I have a 4.0 GPA, class valedictorian, senior class secretary, 5 on Ap chemistry and ap calculus ab. I took honors trig, ap chem, ap us history , ap government, ap economics, and I'm in my second year in ap English literature. I pretty much took every ap my skool offered except one. Sat-1930 (math-740 writing 670 and english 520). will retake in october hoping for a 650+ on cr. Sat IIs (chemistry-730 and will take math 1 and 2 in november) All grades on my transcript are 90+ except one , ap gov 89. I'm a member of the MSA. My race is African American. President of the yearbook committee. Volunteer in the office of senior activities. Member of chess club. Job at one of the countries best bakery's(Peter Pan), volunteer in a Sunday school. Peer tutor for high school students in any subject. Varsity soccer team since 10th grade up to now. Won scholars award three years in a row. Principle honor roll every marking period. These are some of the stuff I have done throughout my 3 years in high school and I still have a few more things but these are a majority of them. So based on my qualifications which engineering schools will I have a chance of getting accepted to?

Is cost an issue? If so maybe consider some of the SUNY schools which offer engineering such as SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Binghamton, and SUNY Buffalo.

NYU Poly has a strong reputation for Chemical Engineering. You’ll mostly qualify for a good merit scholarship too. Also, Columbia, Cornell are good choices too. Look into Stonybrook and buffalo. I wouldn’t suggest Binghamton because there is no chemE. Keep us updated.
