What schools should I apply to?

I want to go to a college with a great pre medical program and need advice on which schools offer that. I’ve heard about colleges that have programs where you find out if you’re in their med school sophomore year which sounds amazing and I would definitely be interested in that. I honestly have no idea where I’m interested in going or where to look into at all and would really appreciate some schools that would be realistic for me!!

So I just got my SAT score back and I got a 2050 (680 math, 670 reading, 700 writing). Im hoping to take it again but thats my score for now.
I have a 94 unweighted average
Courses: soph- honors trig WHAP, honors and pre-ap for all other classes
junior- honors precalc, APUSH, ap english, ap chem, ap physics, ap spanish
senior (next year)- AP bio, AP spanish lit, AP calc, AP Lit, AP art, AP Gov/Eco

extra circulars: varsity cross country, two years jv lacrosse, Art honor society, editor for school newspaper, guitar and I also have a job after school and weekends

I also am a neuro research intern at mount sinai hospital in nyc over the summers full time and Im participating in science competitions this year and next year for my research (lysef, intel, etc)

Also background: My parents didn’t go to college so Im the first generation, they immigrated from Israel and I speak fluent hebrew

It depends on what kind of school you’re interested in. Ask yourself these questions, and then you can narrow down your search:

  1. Big school or small school?
  2. How far from home am I willing to travel?
  3. How much can my family afford?
  4. City, suburban, or rural?
  5. Are athletics important?

Once you answer those questions, you can narrow your search down. You have solid grades and your scores are strong for the first time taking them. Go to https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/college-search. You can search for schools that offer a premed program and add more filters depending on your answer to the questions above. College Board has a ton of information regarding college, so start there when searching. Best of luck to you in your search!
