2.8-3.0 GPA
ACT:24
Tons of EC's, endless list,mission trip to jamacia and florida with church, volunteering at hospitals and at church and senior homes.
Lots of sports, have played basketball my whole life, played on jv fresh and soph years, soccer on jv soph and fresh years, baseball fresh year, play on a nationally ranked aau bball team.
Lots more volunteering, head of positive peers group in school.
Bron in russia, tough start to life, thats what my essay is about, amazing references.</p>

<p>What did you get on the SAT?
And I would retake the ACT if you're looking to get into a more selective school. I know that a 29 is equivalent to about a 1310 on the SAT (out of 1600). So a 24 would be maybe a high 11 something...</p>

<p>Look at Lauren Pope's book on good colleges off most students radar screen. Some very good ones in the South that you can get into and spend 4 yrs out of the cold MN winters.</p>
