A rough rule in picking matches if they are out of state public colleges, is to have your SAT score fall in the upper half of the mid 50% of a given colleges test scores. Many college guides report the mid 50% range of colleges. If you fall in the upper 25% of that range, the school because a strong reach or safety. For most state schools, you must get your app in early, because it does get harder to be admitted as the year goes on. Going by that guide, Delaware, UConn, New Hampshire, Buffalo, Rhode Island, are some matches. Maryland, Boston U are reaches.

Check out Bentley in MA and Bryant College in RI, both could be good options for business and more in a match area for you.
If you want city/urban area, try Fordham in NYC and you could check out Drexel, LaSalle U and St. Joseph's U in Phila. All have D-I sports. These will also offer you smaller campus/student body size so you have an alternative from your state/larger schools.

I think you would be accepted at Boston University's College of General Studies. Here is the link: http://www.bu.edu/cgs/

CGS accepts students with lower statistics than those of Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Communications, etc. There is a prescribed curriculum for the first two years, and then you transfer into one of the other colleges.

halopeno, that's not a haiku. Your's is 5-6-5 and haikus are 5-7-5.

baseball89 - Your business type credentials already are very impressive and will be so to admissions personnel at any business program at a college/university you are applying to. Your SAT scores are just fine overall. One thing the SAT's can't measure is heart and drive, and you appear to have plenty of that. Look to applying to colleges/universities that encourage supplementing the quantitative (grades and SAT/ACT's) with the great "I'm a business owner already" story you have to tell.

Now to some colleges/university recommendations - Consider business programs at schools with a co-op emphasis as well. The University of Cincinnati and Drexel University in Philly are two (along with Northeastern in Boston). These schools have great employer contacts and internships in their co-op programs which is right up a business person's alley.

I second St. Joseph's in Philly as a recommendation - strong in business with a nice D-I basketball program.

Gellino, you are write here is a better one:

I made a haiku
It had more than 7 sounds
I am so sorry

That is 5-7-5 I believe, lol

Please excuse my spelling "gellino, you are RIGHT"
