My Sat score is a 1670- 520 reading/ 570 math/ 580 writing
My GPA is a 3.9 not weighted/ 4.0+ weighted and I'm in the top 12-10% of my class
I take honors classes and am taking AP classes/challenging classes next year (AP calc/ AP US History/history research seminar/physics)
I want to know what schools I have a chance at getting scholarship money with these credentials. I know I should take my SAT again and I will, but if I don't do better I want to know what I should be looking into with this.

Maybe a very good state school? Your application would be pretty great if you got your SAT scores up… and I mean way up. Honestly though, you need to have some sort of hook like a sad story or, a gazillion volunteer hours if you want to get your hands on a scholarship.

I think you’ll do better the next time you take the SAT’s! Grade wise I was only slightly ahead of you and got 1660 the first time and when I took the test again my scores rose 110 points

I highest sat score I ever got was a 1780 in a practice test for the Princeton review. I can’t get over a 600 in math, but I can get a 96 in pre calc, go figure. I don’t have much hope for the SAT so I’m just trying to figure out what schools I should go with right now. The main school I’ve been thinking about is Monmouth university… could I get money to go there? I’ve been told it’s possible.

And what do you want to go into? And what state do you live in?

Political science/history or political science/economics. I live in new jersey.

According to this [Monmouth University profile - SAT Scores and Admissions Data for Monmouth University](Monmouth University: Acceptance Rate, SAT/ACT Scores, GPA) you rank just below their 75th percentile in sat scores. I would think if you improved the scores a little bit you should be good. Then again what I know I’m just a kid with Internet access.
